Why choose a NH / NS linear guide?
Choosing an NH / NS linear guide offers the following advantages:
Significant improvement in service life
The new NH and NS rails, based on the LH and LS series characterized by reliability and performance, a significant increase in service life has been achieved. A new ball groove geometry is introduced, which has been developed using NSK's state-of-the-art tribology and analysis technologies. Due to the optimized distribution of contact surface pressures, rated life has been significantly increased.
Compared with the LH / LS Series, the rated load capacity of the NH and NS Series has been increased by a factor of 1.3, while service life has been doubled*. These features enable you to design a machine with a longer service life and reduce the size of the machine. As a result, your design capabilities are greatly enhanced.

Ball path with excellent properties
By re-examining ball track design practices, NSK has achieved smooth ball circulation and reduced noise levels. As a result, the NH and NS series are better suited to high-speed applications than the LH / LS series.
Interchangeable generations
For NH rails, all mounting dimensions are identical to those of the LH and SH series. The same applies to NS rails with LS and SS series. Mounting dimensions such as mounting height, mounting width, mounting hole diameter/linear guide pitch, etc. remain the same as for conventional series. Interchangeable from size 15 to 65, possible assembly/disassembly of pads (except for miniatures, size 8 - 10 - 12), mounting dimensions are based on DIN and ISO 12090
High self-alignment capability (bearing direction)
Identical to the DF combination of angular contact bearings, the self-aligning capability is high because the point of intersection of the contact lines of the balls and grooves is on the inside. This increases the ability to absorb installation errors.
High load capacity in vertical direction
The contact angle is fixed at 50 degrees, increasing load capacity and rigidity in the vertical direction.
